Puma x Buzz Lightyear

Graphic design, art direction, photoshop
Project Overview
A collaborative assignment between students from Humber Lakeshore and North campus, this project relied on good communication between parties.
The idea was to give us the experience of working with external photographers, who would need guidance and instruction in order to deliver the photos we needed for our chosen product and strategy.
This was very important to our end product, as we were only permitted to use nine images from our photoshoot; so getting the right shots was crucial.
My Contributions
As an art director, I was in charge of sketching out the shots we would want for each ad, assisting the photographers with the light painting we came up with (super fun). Afterwards while working with the limited photo resources, used some heavy photoshop to create the final products.
The interesting part was seeing how far I could take the images. While we had access to nine images in total, I only used three of them as Photoshop material, with a lot of heavy editing to back them up.
These are the three original images, try and see where each one contributed to the final product.
This was a very fun project. A lot of experiences and requirements that up to that point we had never really engaged with. The photoshoot day was my personal favourite part of the process, working in a dark room with the light painting was a super unique experience.
